-Performed as the lead entertainment reporter and producer for a student-run, Emmy Award-winning newscast called The Met Report.

 

-Interned at KDVR/KWGN in Denver, then was hired on as a production assistant and interim assignment editor.

-At 23, I landed my first on-air job as the morning news anchor for KFDX/KJTL in Wichita Falls. A year later, they promoted me to evening news anchor/reporter.

 

-I manage two franchises: One is a health segment called Healthy You, the other is a positive, travel-related segment called I LOVE TEXOMA. I am the main reporter for both and I write and edit those pieces for broadcast.

-Created an impactful docu-series called Voice for the Voiceless, bringing to light racism and discrimination in our community.

In charge of presenting a reliable newscast for the 5, 6, and 10 pm shows, delivering local and national news headlines, reading and copy editing stories prior to broadcast, writing scripts for both on air and online, maintaining an outgoing online presence, going live for breaking news, pitching impactful stories for broadcast and digital coverage, conducting interviews, reporting, editing videos, and volunteering for various community events and appearances.

Required to maintain a stable studio environment for the morning broadcast, floor directing the talent, camera operations, guest coordination, studio sound checks, assignment editing and maintaining a reliable presence for talent, producers and news directors.
